The Role

As a Site Manager, you will utilise your technical and practical construction knowledge to build high-quality homes in accordance with the Australian Building Codes and the ABN Group’s safety standards.

You will be joining an energetic and dynamic team and will report to the Building Manager.

 Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensure our homes are built with the highest quality of workmanship, in accordance with the building code and in line with company procedures
  • Conduct daily site inspections and manage job rounds to ensure the most efficient job flow and progress possible, across multiple sites
  • Coordinate trades and material, checking the quality of subcontractors’ workmanship to ensure compliance
  • Utilise knowledge and experience of construction to identify opportunities for improvement and to effectively problem solve
  • Work closely with Customer Experience Coordinators to provide regular and accurate progress updates to clients
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all company stakeholders, building effective professional relationships with trades and suppliers
  • Promote and maintain safe work protocols at all times

You

To be successful in this role, the following qualities and experiences will be considered favourably:

  • Relevant trade qualification and/or previous site management experience
  • Cert 4 or Diploma in Building and Construction will be highly regarded
  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence and White Card (mandatory)
  • Understanding of the relevant legislation, standards and codes and the ability to interpret building plans, engineers reports and specifications
  • Strong time management, organisation skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and a drive for continuous improvement
  • Effective communication and sound problem-solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
