The Role 

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead and develop a high-performance sales team to deliver on immediate and long-term sales objectives. You will play a key role in the development and implementation of our retail strategy to enhance our sales performance and create a competitive advantage.   

Other key responsibilities include: 

  • Undertake continual analysis of end-to-end sales processes to identify opportunities to improve conversion and overall sales performance  
  • Provide training, coaching and guidance to Sales Development Managers and New Homes Consultants to enhance their performance and capability 
  • Provide exceptional leadership that drives a high-performance sales culture engaged in delivering business strategies
  • Partner with the Brand Manager to align lead generation strategies with marketing initiatives  
  • Drive an outstanding customer experience with the Sales team and regularly review customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities to the customer journey 
  • Develop and enhance our brand value proposition in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring a strategic competitive advantage  
  • Maintain a high level of market and competitor activity, awareness and analysis, providing insights to the General Manager and Group Sales Manager WA on our market position 
  • Foster a fun team culture by celebrating achievements and upholding our core values 
  • Have an always on approach to recruitment, retain and develop talent

You 

We are looking for a natural leader who builds strong relationships and inspires others with proven experience in successfully developing and implementing retail strategies.  

You will possess the following skills and experiences: 

  • Experience in residential construction and/or property industry 
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of sales processes and marketing  
  • Demonstrated management/leadership experience, leading a large team with a positive culture  
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives 
  • Proven competency in developing and maintaining a high-performance sales culture 
  • Highly developed communication, influencing and negotiating skills 
  • Strong, positive leadership, focused on developing talent and continuous improvement 
  • High levels of emotional intelligence and self-awareness
