What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Design Manager WA, you’ll guide a talented team of designers, ensuring every project meets high standards of quality, compliance, and creativity — all while supporting the success of our sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support the Sales Design team to deliver exceptional results
• Oversee workflow and priorities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time
• Set, monitor, and report on goals and KPIs that align with business objectives
• Ensure all designs meet compliance requirements for developers and local authorities
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Drafting, and Approvals teams to resolve design or planning challenges
• Coach and develop team members, fostering growth and a positive, high-performing culture
• Deliver cost-effective, compliant, and client-focused design solutions
• Share insights and updates through regular team meetings and performance reporting

What You’ll Bring

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team
• Certificate IV in Residential Drafting (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of construction principles and R-Codes
• Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution and decision-making ability
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and client focus
