What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Design Manager WA, you’ll guide a talented team of designers, ensuring every project meets high standards of quality, compliance, and creativity — all while supporting the success of our sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support the Sales Design team to deliver exceptional results
- Oversee workflow and priorities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time
- Set, monitor, and report on goals and KPIs that align with business objectives
- Ensure all designs meet compliance requirements for developers and local authorities
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Drafting, and Approvals teams to resolve design or planning challenges
- Coach and develop team members, fostering growth and a positive, high-performing culture
- Deliver cost-effective, compliant, and client-focused design solutions
- Share insights and updates through regular team meetings and performance reporting
What You’ll Bring
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team
- Certificate IV in Residential Drafting (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of construction principles and R-Codes
- Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution and decision-making ability
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and client focus
