What You'll Be Working On 

In this senior leadership role, you’ll be responsible for driving culture, strategy and direction across Design, Drafting, Estimating and Precontract departments. 

Other key responsibilities include: 

• Manage staff in day-to-day operations and empower them by providing opportunities for growth, mentorship and skill development 
• Liaise with Business Development Manager to ensure effective processes and business requirements are met 
• Stakeholder engagement with key partners including Architects, Developers, Real Estate Agents and Project Managers 
• Consistently achieve production targets, KPIs, and timeframes to ensure project success 
• Manage and coordinate workload for Estimating, Design, Drafting and Preconstruction teams and associated resources 

Who Will Be Successful 

 To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualities and experiences: 

• Strong commercial and residential construction knowledge 
• Demonstrated leadership qualities in team development, training and people management 
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail  High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer systems for efficient data handling  
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, reports, plans, and specifications to understand project requirements 
• Knowledge of on-site construction workflows to factor in all cost elements 
• Resilience and a willingness to develop professionally in a dynamic industry 
• A team player, eager to develop people and lead by example through strong leadership
