Responsibilities include applying protective and decorative finishes to buildings, ensuring high-quality, long-lasting results. Tasks & Responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain, and varnish using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to achieve high-quality results
• Prepare internal and external surfaces, including stripping old paint or wallpaper, repairing damaged areas, filling imperfections, and sealing surfaces for optimal finish
• Safely assemble and use ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment, ensuring protective coverings are in place to safeguard surrounding surfaces
• Maintain a clean and organised worksite, including thorough clean-up of tools and materials on project completion
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements at all times

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the trade
• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent qualification)
• Demonstrated experience working on residential or construction projects
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
• Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices
