The Role

Are you a new graduate ready to play a key role in bringing construction projects to life? As a Draftsperson you will prepare accurate drawings for building contracts and permits. You’ll ensure compliance with construction standards, documentation, and regulations, using your ArchiCAD expertise to support smooth project progression.

Further duties and responsibilities will include:

• Prepare contract, prestart and variation drawings to meet customer and statutory requirements
• Ensure high standards in drawings and compliance with client variations
• Provide technical support to teams and Site Managers
• Review and correct errors in team member’s drawings
• Liaise with engineers and energy assessors for compliance
• Ensure architectural and engineering drawings are compatible
• Regularly review performance objective and development plans

You

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Residential Draftsperson with a passion for the building industry and technical drawing. If you have experience with ArchiCAD and a strong understanding of construction and R-codes, we want to hear from you!

Other skills that will make you succeed:

• Minimum certificate IV in Residential Drafting or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and neatness
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
