About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Development Manager to join the Parcel Property team on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for managing land development projects from inception to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, development partners and key stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes. You will play a key role in project planning, feasibility assessment, stakeholder engagement and project delivery, ensuring developments are progressed efficiently, on time and in line with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing land development projects and coordinating stakeholders to achieve successful development outcomes.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, development partners and government authorities.
  • Undertaking feasibility assessments and monitoring project performance, financial commitments and key milestones.
  • Driving project delivery, including obtaining required approvals, implementing project frameworks and managing development risks.
  • Developing project strategies and providing recommendations to support innovation, growth and commercial success.

About You

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded development professional who is passionate about delivering successful project outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in land development with strong financial and project planning skills, including the ability to prepare and interpret feasibility assessments.
  • A solutions-focused approach, with the ability to identify risks and overcome project challenges.
  • Well-developed stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a range of internal and external parties.
  • Sound commercial acumen and an understanding of planning considerations and market influences within the development industry.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to plan ahead, mitigate potential delays and deliver projects within agreed timeframes.
