The Role

This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a dynamic industry. Reporting to the Construction Estimating Team Leader, you will be responsible for all costing aspects of the business, evaluating projects and providing accurate estimates.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the authorisation of sub-contract and supplier invoice ETO’s
• Action variations and communicate  to relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Schedule all material and labour quantities accurately and efficiently through required software packages
• Review, provide feedback and assist with system improvements to create efficiencies
• Ensure file notes are well maintained and up to date using appropriate software
• Assisting with technical training and support to other staff as required

You

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

• Experience as a Scheduler and/or Estimator (not essential but advantageous)
• Understanding of construction methods
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisation and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team with a wide group of stakeholders across multiple business functions
• Effective problem-solving skills with an ability to influence individuals or groups to achieve better outcomes
• Practical approach with a drive to improve or exceed goals
