The Role

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Business Services team in Perth.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounts payable function, ensuring invoices, payments, reconciliations, and vendor enquiries are managed accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process invoices in line with established policies and approval workflows
  • Manage payment processing including electronic and manual payments
  • Support reconciliations and period-end activities
  • Handle vendor enquiries and assist with resolving payment disputes
  • Maintain accurate vendor master data and records
  • Assist with audit preparation and financial documentation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the AP function

About You

You are someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. You thrive when working collaboratively with others, have a strong eye for detail, and enjoy building positive relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.

In addition, you will have:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or transactional finance role
  • Experience working within a high-volume Accounts Payable environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience using financial systems and Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders across the business
  • Exposure to invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment management
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to support team initiatives
  • Previous experience using Dynamics 365 will be highly regarded
