What's on offer:
This is an initial 12 month contract for a Trade Manager to support and project manage our Trade Management Framework. In conjunction with key stakeholders the Trade Manager is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality new homes, adhering meticulously to Australian Building Codes.
Day-to-day activities include:
Establishment of reporting to understand existing trade base
Establishment of data-driven grading system for individual trades and trade groups
Support Trademates implementation in Victoria
Support the Building Leadership Team with Trade Management Systems
Facilitating onsite meetings to synchronise efforts and ensure seamless progress
Cultivating and promoting quality practices among trades and suppliers, fostering excellence
Identifying avenues to reduce waste, extras, and errors, maximising resource efficiency
Auditing safety protocols on-site and championing a culture of safety and well-being
What you’ll bring:
You're an organised individual with volume building management experience.
You embody:
A deep-seated passion for the residential building industry and a drive for excellence
A Diploma in Building and Construction or trade qualification
Proficiency in IT, with a command of the Microsoft suite and related programs
A robust trade background and the ability to nurture professional relationships
Tenacity in meeting targets and juggling conflicting deadlines
Exceptional communication and listening skills, fostering collaboration
