What You Will Be Working On  

As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will support end-to-end recruitment processes and provide an exceptional candidate and Hiring Manager experience across ABN Group. This role will focus on proactive recruitment strategies, manage relationships with recruitment agencies and work closely with the Talent Acquisition team on projects and initiatives across the business.

This role is a fixed term contract for 12 months. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers on recruitment of all job roles across ABN Group WA 
  • Conduct recruitment activities including job briefs, advertising, phone screens, interviews and reference checks 
  • Manage ABN Careers inbox and provide an exceptional experience and service to internal stakeholders and candidates 
  • Educate Hiring Managers on recruitment processes, interview techniques and provide system training 
  • Partner with preferred recruitment agencies for hard-to-fill roles 
  • Manage talent pool candidates, regularly communicate and update database 
  • Utilise SEEK Premium Talent Search and LinkedIn Recruiter for current and future sourcing needs 
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance recruitment process and candidate experience 

You 

The Talent Acquisition team is growing and requires someone who is self-motivated that can collaborate with Hiring Managers and manage operational recruitment. You’re passionate about providing a great candidate experience and can adapt to diverse recruitment needs across business units. 

You will have: 

  • Demonstrated experience managing a high-volume recruitment across multiple roles/business units (internal or agency) 
  • Effective stakeholder management and an ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Experience using PageUp (desirable) or other applicant tracking systems 
  • Previous exposure to partnering with recruitment agencies 
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar 
  • Excellent time management skills, able to work within deadlines and manage multiple tasks 
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong written and verbal communication 
  • Confident and skilled in sourcing, interviewing, talent pooling and best practices
